Calibration web pages display option chain information including our Calibration Number, a unique index that tells you not only whether a particular option is selling for too little or too much, but also how rare a bargain it may be to buy or sell that option as long as you act right now.

Right now!  That's the key.  This is not a tool for those whose idea of playing the market is to come home and read the paper for a half hour and basing your decisions on that.  This is a tool for the investor who is willing to sit in front of the computer screen 100% of the time they have money in the market.

The market is very efficient at correcting these inefficiencies.  It will grow better at correcting and eliminating the kind of inefficiencies that this tool and other similar tools detect.  Although some persist for days, most are gone in a couple of hours, and some are gone even before you get the data to evaluate.  Unless you act immediately, you have no chance of exploiting the inefficiency.  If you are one of the first to jump on these opportunities,  the market's quick correction actions will even work in your favor.

Daily measurement has consistently proven to be of no use; hourly is not much better.  Dr. Ron Schoenberg found that he were unable to get significant advantages from his calibrations until he made them every five minutes.  That measurement rate was often enough to push our little simulation OptionBots into the profit zone, but the five-minute information is not quite timely enough for a human to get in on the action.  We humans need the information every minute, and we'd like it every second if we could afford the overhead.

What you can get today are calibrations on all of the QQQ options updated once a minute.  How effective is it?  In our simple, repeatable tests, it was the difference between making a significant profit and losing our shirts.   See the chart, the report, and the press release detailing these changes.
