NewsWe recently starting testing end-of-day trading systems and made an amazing discovery. Trials for end-of-day trading systems are almost free! One trial on twenty years of data takes a quarter of a second! This has some mind-boggling benefits because it means that we could do vastly more ambitious experiments. In our first experiment after discovering this, we were able to increase the profitability of a popular published system (Short-Term Trading Strategies That Work, by Larry Connors and Cesar Alvarez) a whopping 367% in TWO DAYS! Details of this are in the next issue of Futures Magazine. We will have a link to that article as soon as they go to press. Ron has prepared a second paper detailing our second experiment in which we further optimized the same process resulting in a total overall improvement from both experiments of 477%. That took another day. We will also have that article here soon, but we are getting these results faster than we can publish them right now.
